Repeat Prescriptions blue_yellow_pills

It is possible to order repeat medication in a number of ways

1. Online

To order a repeat prescription online please see our reception team for your log on and password then click the link at the top of this page.

The NHS prescription charge is a flat-rate amount which successive Governments have thought it reasonable to charge for those who can afford to pay for their medicines.  Prescription prepayment certificates (PPCs) offer real savings for people who need extensive medication.

2. Using our automated telephone system

Please ask reception to issue a pin code the first time you use this syetm

3. By hand

Your repeat prescription form is printed on the right hand side of your prescription. You should keep this form safe and then hand it back in to reception at least 48 hours before your medication is due to run it.

If you have lost your prescription form inform a member of the reception team who will print you off another form.

4. By post

You can send your repeat prescription request to us by post. Please include a stamped addressed envelope with your request so we can send you the completed prescription.

Please allow 48 hours, excluding weekends and Bank Holidays, for your request to be processed.

Please note that you may be asked to come in to see a doctor for a medication review

We are unable to process requests for repeat prescriptions via the telephone or email - please use our automated service for this.
